The Supreme Federal Court Palace (Supremo Tribunal Federal) in Brasília, Brazil. It is the seat of the Brazilian highest appealing court and constitutional court.  The building was designed by the renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.  It is one of the iconic buildings that define the city of Brasília, which was built as Brazil's new capital in the late 1950s.  The design features a horizontal block with a large, flat roof supported by elegant, curved concrete columns.  The building's architecture is a key example of the "empty" or monumental theme used throughout the city's government area.  Photo credit unknown.
