What I’m taking with me on my 2026 adventures 📸 Laying all of this out to make this post gave me a tiny wave of anxiety. I still don’t fully understand how we manage to pack it all, but somehow it works. For me, this is actually a considered and refined setup for a very photo and video obsessed traveller 🤌🏻 Every piece has earned its place. It’s a kit built for early starts, long days, chasing light, telling stories on the move, and being ready when a moment appears unexpectedly. But it’s also the main reason why I often visit the chiropractor 😂 (yes it’s worth it) Quick disclaimer because this is very much a team effort. I’m incredibly lucky to travel with sammorris3, who carries his own camera set up, the drone, long lens and GoPro in his bag. We share lenses and kit between us, and it makes travelling and creating together so much easier. I also keep the camera cage, top handle and monitor in my hold luggage to keep things a little lighter on my back. Unreal hikes, misty forests, tiny remote villages 🌋 Mount Teide National Park – volcanic craters, lava fields, and the highest point in Spain. Feels like Mars 🌊 Los Gigantes Cliffs – dramatic cliff views and the cutest coastal town 🏖️ Playa de Las Teresitas – that golden sand? Imported from the Sahara. Worth it 🏞️ Masca Village – winding roads, insane mountain views, and a proper local vibe 🐬 Whale & dolphin watching – we saw so many dolphins, and it was one of the best things to do in Tenerife 🌸 La Orotava – super charming, colourful colonial town. Go for the architecture, stay for the coffee 🌴 Garachico – lava rock pools, good food, and fewer tourists. 10/10 afternoon stop 🍷 Icod de los Vinos – go for the famous dragon tree and stay for the wine tasting Tenerife is SO much more than people think.
