Yeman Crippa ha appena compiuto un’impresa straordinaria: ha trionfato alla Paris Marathon con un tempo di 2H05’18’’ un nuovo record personale, migliorato di ben 48 secondi, e il secondo crono italiano di sempre! Su un tracciato che non si presta esattamente alla velocità, questo risultato parla chiaro: è l’espressione della qualità della sua prestazione, più che del semplice tempo. Fin dai primi chilometri, il ritmo era sotto controllo. Un gruppo nutrito passa alla mezza maratona in circa 1:03:14. Da quel punto in poi, la selezione è stata inesorabile: a 30 km, restano solo 11 atleti, ma al 35 km, Yeman prende l’iniziativa, scattando in testa. Al 40° km, restano in quattro, e negli ultimi 2,195 km, il 28enne trentino gestisce il finale con maestria, resistendo agli attacchi e mantenendo la leadership fino al traguardo. Impressionante la seconda frazione in 1:02:04 (2’57”/km 😱) che, dopo il passaggio a metà gara in 1:03:14, sigla una negative split clamorosa, segnale di quanto margine cronometrico ci sia ancora. Alle sue spalle, Bayelign Teshager con 2:05:23 (+4”), seguito da Sila Kiptoo a 2:05:28 (+10”) e Mohamed Ismail a 2:05:38. Tutti regolati nella volata finale. Yeman super dunque Yohanes Chiappinelli nella graduatoria all-time italiana, piazzandosi dietro solo a Iliass Aouani (2:04:26 a Tokyo). Au XIXe siècle, ces plantes grimpantes sont devenues un symbole des jardins urbains romantiques, reprenant discrètement possession de la pierre et du fer.
